You do know that Michael “borrowed” some of Janet’s moves from “Nasty Boys” song on his “Bad” song? You do know that Michael lists Janet as one of his influences? Janet is the reason for BLACK artists like Ciara, Aaliyah, BEYONCE, etc and even white acts like Britney Spears who credits her as one of her biggest influences.
She has some fantastic discography from RN 1814, The Velvet Rope, Janet, Control, etc. She, along with Madonna, used s**, religion, race, etc in their artistry (which hasn’t been done before) and their incorporated it to their music. Janet did many things other than just “dancing” to become an icon/legend. Where do you get off though?
